What we collect

The contact tool on this site runs entirely in your browser and does not transmit data to us. We only receive personal data if you choose to email us, for example your name, email address, vehicle details and the content of your question and any attachments.

Our hosting provider may process technical data such as IP addresses in server logs for security and reliability.

Why and on what basis

We use emailed information to reply to you, based on your consent and our legitimate interest in answering reader questions. We may use anonymised questions to plan future guides. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.

Retention

We keep correspondence for up to 24 months after our last exchange, then delete it unless a longer period is legally required.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, object to processing and withdraw consent at any time. You may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
